Today many astrologer strictly focus on Rashi Chart, and Navamsa Chart, totally ignoring the Shodasa Varga analyses, which holds key in many cases such as twins, and others who have the same Rashi chart, and lead completely different lives. Both classical texts as well as tradition teach that for Karma and profession one should focus Dashamsa varga or division of a sign into ten parts.

All varga charts show our special types of environment where the forces of destiny control us, while the Rashi chart shows our reaction to such forces. A person can have many talents and learns or masters some subjects both for the sake of learning, as well as for the sake of rising the quality of one’s life. However, we do not make career of all subject we learn. In order to fulfill our karma we need the following things;

Working (karma) environment

Right knowledge

Right inspiration

These three factors become crucial in understanding the karma of the native, choice of career and job. Before jumping into analyses of Dashamsa as many people superficially do by comparing the 6th or 7th houses and their trines, there are so many factors which should be analyzed.

Generally people do two types of karmas or shift in between them. One is the karma or job which is self oriented, while another is karma or job which is duty bound or includes and focuses the benefit of others. Sometimes, a person can choose one path and during the life transform into another or vice verse.

Another type of division is the choice of the job which comes due to various factors

Right inspiration which includes going towards the right direction

Right knowledge which is based on ability to master that subject

Choice coming from the soul level, which will include the job we love, or the job we want money from

Before we can even step into the analyses of Dashamsa chart we should understand the following:

Whether the person will do self oriented karma or not, and whether any kind of transformation is required particularly having in mind the dasa running

What kind of knowledge or subject is available to become person’s job. For example, somebody may want to become a doctor, yet it is neither in his destiny to become so, nor he can have knowledge to perform that job. In such cases, are there any tools in tradition to make his/her dream come true?

What are the means to master the skill we need for performing the job

What are the working forces or karmic forces operating in Dasamsa and how we react to it?

Does the chart favours self employment or service, and in such cases what are details about each choice?

Before analyzing Dashamsa chart independently, one must set a stage and be ready to cope with all previous points and questions. Once these have become clear, one can easily understand all details about a person’s job and career. IF these steps are not followed nor understood, a person cannot give a precise answer about a person’s job, nor career details, which is today unfortunately very often the case. Today you will see that astrologers simply see the larger number of planets in either 6th or 7th house in Dasamsa to determine the choice of service/business, or simply look at 2.6. 10 houses in Dasamsa to determine the career/job. This inevitably leads to guesses without correct and complete knowledge, as well as superficial advices given by astrologers.

Here is the chart of a famous astrologer and a Jyotish Guru Pt. Sanjay Rath

7th august 1963, 21h 15 min, Sambalpur , Orrissa, Dashamsa Lagna je Meena.

In his chart, very high ideals and dharma or duty bound nature is pronounced, while high emotions and ideals are seen from Lagnesha Guru in exaltation. Budha dasa coming forces him transform towards self oriented career, while best job suited for him comes from exalted Guru, blessing of Tara Mahavidya, which gives excellent teachers of Vedanga. Since Guru is in karka Rashi, this knowledge comes from the study with teacher. Other blessings come from Ketu , Chandra and budha in simha and dhanu rashi respectively, which indicate that he has complete skills in jyotish (ketu), Chandra (people’s mind, social) and Budha (writing). Since Chandra is in arta trikona, this certainly indicates that he would work in service for at least some period in life.

Whenever is Chandra strongly placed in Artha trikona a person has to serve for some time. The same holds true for business or self imployment if Chandra is in Kama trikona. If Chandra is in Moksa trikona, self imployment is preffered, while in Dharma trikona, service is preferred. Budha is also very strong in 10th house in dhanu rashi giving him abilities in writing and work as a writer, particularly since budha rules 7th house of business. The budha mahadasha came and switch took over from service to business and writing. Shani could not keep him in service being in 3rd house. Budha in 10th house gives the blessing of Brahmanaspati while Rahu in 12th house gives the blessing of Ganesha, and cannot obstruct the teaching of Vedanga being in the 12th house in own sign. Otherwise, it would have indicated his own mistakes and inabilities as well as secret enemies which will from time to time show their teeth. Surya is neecha in the chart, in the 8th house, and any sort of leadership gives a lot of troubles, as well as governmental administration, though it is beautifully placed for support of service and its stuff. Therefore, we can clearly say that planet which is exalted and blessed by Tara as per the standard rules determined profession of a person, and that is teacher of Jyotisha. For any teaching of Vedanga, Guru must be superiorly placed in Dashamsa chart. It is interesting to note that a native took mechanical engineering ruled by Mangal, which has digbala from 10th house, however is in Marana Karaka Stana from Lagna. Though Mangal is 2nd lord and as such indicates that a person is loner at work, not aspiring to work groups, and can bless a native with good finance(mangal is in kanya), doing a job of a planet in debility or marana karaka stana is never recommendable nor long lasting unless there are other nullifying factors. Though debility can bring a lot of money, a person needs to do certain remedial measures to make the effect long lasting, and to be blessed by the knowledge of that planet. This person teaches Jyotish (blessing of Guru), writes book (blessing of Budha in dhanu in 10th house), and has knowledge of Jyotish (blessing of ketu in simha rashi). Chandra in simha rashi also gives him ability to understand people’s minds and good social approach and understanding. This is all what makes him a superior in the field. Incidently, the sign in Lagna rising, has no planet and is pisces which is the best suited signs for Astrologers.

To be continued…

There are a few things I would like to announce:

1. I have started preparations for construction of Siva Centre which requires great efforts and funding

2. Since, rare are those who are willing to unconditionally donate (I had conditional very large amounts of donations in the past), however, having nothing to do with 12th house of the chart, and due to conditions “ peeping” behind those donations, I had to refuse each of it

3. Therefore, I have come to the simple solution where my work would be fruitful and community of jyotish can be happy about it. I am preparing 21 rare and hidden topics from Jyotish, which will be uploaded as a complete topics and sold over the net. Each article will be given with full examples, and will cover around 20 pages, where my idea was to charge 20$ or 20 Euros per article. That would approximately cost 1 $ per page, which is less than regular cost of typing any document, at least here in Serbia. Among the articles, I will offer some of those which are already at the website however, the topics will be finished, and illustrated, so that you as a reader and buyer will have no unsolved questions upon studying it. The articles will be:

Five in beginners category

1. Grahas in Bhavas- how to learn important principles and understand such positions

2. Rahu and Ketu through 12th houses

3. Surya in the chart, 12 houses and signs understanding as well as Surja Lagna

4. Importance of Karana and Tithi in the Natal Chart, the key to your karma/profession and relationships and marriage

5. Lunar Yogas- Personal and Outer Chandra Yogas, Kemadruma Yoga, Importance of Chandra Kundali, differences between your biological and environmental influences, Group and individual karma

Five in Intermediate Category

1. How to see preferences, talents and differences between inborn and socially influenced tastes? The influences of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva (as well as Rishis) on the very grounds in our lifes. What are the likes/dislikes, what a person really likes, and what he gets?

2. What are the real keys of understanding Vimsotari dasa? The analyses of Dasa, antar, and pratyantar are separately explained. Does mahadasa influences our thinking, body, wealth or what, or is the antardasa lord one who does that? What is the exact difference. Quick explanation of all six levels and how to use it

3. What is the curse of a planet? Where does it impact?Any help. Detailed analyses and traditional metods? Will it affect my experience, luck or people around me?

4. How to determine profession from a chart? There are things we like to do, but don’t and whether we will do what we like to do?

Om Namah Shivaya,

Today, many people confuse the term spiritualty with those who take interest in phylosophy and even do mantras/meditation and new age techniques. This is far from being spiritual, since even Raksasas practiced Jyotish and did sadhanas for their personal goals. Sprituality is obvious in human behaviour where a person should be decent, honest, truthful and have all the qualities of heart and mind where all scriptures agree. This should be a good ground to plant a seed for spiritual progress and I will give you a few hints as how to see this in the chart. Some people even talk about moksa and high level of consciousness and realization which if you are a good jyotishi can make you laugh and be sad due to the human ignorance. Unfortunatelly, today, a new trand has emerged where people are jumping to worship Istadevata blindly without fate, based on the advice given by astrologers. This can naver have high spiritual impact and is wrong advice, since one has to have a good chart and good karma to reach the level of Ista Devata, and second, this is the last stage in the worship or spiritual sadhana. So, in most cases it is waste of time, or hitting OFF the real problem

Before dreaming of advising Ista devata sadhana, or some serious spriritual worship an astrologer should check the following

1. Examine Moksa Trikonas/ Each malefik is highly unwelcome in these houses, including malefic signs without benefic planets. Each malefic will show nija dosha coming through the time of present, past and future, and first has to be PACIFIED and removed from HEART AND HEAD.

2. Normally malefics in 4th house and Lagna show a very bad person, who is untruthful, and can never be spiritual. This is clear poison in the head and poision in the heart. A person is not even a good person, not to talk about the term spiritual.

3. Examine the 12th house. Malefic and tamasic graha in 12th house (except Ketu) will take a person in lower loka after death, which proves that he will be judged by his actions which obviously shows that a person will or has performed very bad karma in this lifetime. Shani, Mangal and Rahu can put the person go to hell, narkas, unless they are debilitated and unless the 12th lord is in own sign or exalted, as is the case of Swami Vivekananda. In other cases, a person will surely go to narka. Devaguru Brihaspati ALONE can prevent this, but he cannot be cursed, combast and under the papa or malefic infleunces. Do not be surprised to see this combination in the charts of people who try to spread the aura of spiritual and knowledgeble ones. What I am stating here is based and supported by all classical texts and knowledge of the tradition. Keep in mind that Shukra and Chandra are good planets to be there, provided one cherishes compassion and purity. Budha is also good there without malefics. Surja, though in Marana karaka stana, is good, as well as Guru and Ketu which are best. Therefore, the first remedial measure is to PREVENT BAD INFLEUNCES ON THESE THREE HOUSES, as well as to change fully, internally and outwardly, otherwise, real spirituality cannot be achived for a long, long time.

Generally, before a person goes to Vishnu/ Sarvavjapakeshvar Devata/and attain the world of devas, heading towards Moksa through the Ista Devata. One must first go to Shiva, and realize ShivoHum. For that Karaka lagna or Atmakaraka placement in the Rashi Chart should be fully cleared from Malefic infleunces. The ahamkar has to be destroyed and this is seen from Karaka Lagna. Various bandanas are shown there which prevents a soul from Self-Realization and illumination, and still this is the step which has to be taken before God- Realisation.

Karaka for Spirituality is Ketu. A lot will depend with Ketu associations in Rashi and Navamsa. If ketu is POLLUTED by certain grahas, all your sadhanas are motivated by personal goals and enjoyment and will not leave a spiritual mark but lead to material achivements.

There are many other points to judge in Rashi chart before we move into Navamsa and other divisions.

To be continued…

Today many books both classical texts and modern books give effects of grahas in bhavas. Unfortunatelly, they prove useless in most cases to all readers, and worthless in practical use. Many modern authors critisize the classical authors as discarding the effects of planets in houses useless. I am not going into details here, but tradition teaches the correct method as how to use these results, and with a proper explanation from a Guru all effects will prove correct and everything will fall into a place. For example, Saravali teaches that Chandra in Lagna gives happiness (Sukha). However Shri Ram has Chandra in Lagna and he was unhappy in the middle part of the life. Why was it so? Shani was placed in 4th house in his chart which indicates dukhada or sorrow and banishment from home. That implies that Chandra in Lagna gives happiness only in childhood, while in middle age it will give happiness provided that benefic planet is placed in 4th house. In this manner, all classical texts should be examined. On the other hand, modern authors do nothing to improve it and give better description and effects of planets. So, to again, modern books either copy-paste the classical text and again give information which again prove usless and incorrect in practice. If you do not trust me, check the number of editions and books and see yourself.

Where is the clue? Tradition teaches certain effects of planets in houses, where very grounded and common-sense rules underline the principle. Once these principle are revealed, evertyhing starts beautifully to unfold and fall into a place and in practical use in horoscope, the picture starts to emerge. Let us give some effects of planets in 12th house to show the point:

1.Surya in Marana Karaka Stana in 12th house, though it gives good health. It prevents losses and punishment, makes person stay at home (will not go abroad), prevents from bad luck, bondages, and gives strong mind, emotions as a result of blessings of Shiva. General tendency is that a person will marry a powerful partner and the reson for marriage may not be as obvious as shown.

2. Chandra in 12th house is the blessing of Devi. A person is strong in body and mind, healthy, easily recovers from disease, has good sleep and rest, powerful subconscious mind and intuition, good mind reader, and prevents from serious bodily damages. Mother will bless the person, though she may be unhappy around the birthtime of a person. A person will give to family and children, yet will not care too much for friends, unless they are close as family members.

3. Mangal in 12th house- Marriage is damaged as well as marital happiness, chooses a bad partner, troubles on long journeyes, bad or slow recovery from sickness, bad sleep, subconsicous anger, physcological issues, loss of initiative and executive ability, a lot of properties which may be lost or wasted away, may be defeated by enemy, unless 6th house does not show otherwise. There are a lot of acquantances but hardly any true friends. If there are some, a person will loose them. Death of a sister or close female friend. IF a person worships Devata of Mangala, a person is blessed with sharp mind and good speech, intelligence and learning, which may prove so particularly during the dasha of Mangal. Depending on the strength of Mangala, this dasha would give litigations, bad luck due to fights, a lot of money which may be spent away, rash decisions which may invovle a person into trouble, marital disharmony and troubles with children etc. If a horoscope is well inclinced for spirituality, this dasha may give a lot of learning and blessings of powerful Guru. In this way, a completelly novel apporach is required for understanding grahas in bhavas…

To be continued…

Let us examine one among many principles to be used here. We all know or should know two important significations of the 5th house which we shall use as an example. These are Mantra and Chitta.

1. Mantra is the sound which can invoke certain Devata and protect the mind.

2. Chitta is the use of database of the mind

Now, we can see the impact of all 9 grahas on these two significations of the 5th house. We can do it by Guna, Nature, Tatva, karakatva etc

Surya is satva guna graha so by default all satvic Grahas will use the mantras in a positive way, and be attracted to it, while chitta will function well and mind will use the awareness in a positive and nice manner. Among these, Guru is Shabda (sound) and he is a real vachaspati or commander of Mantra. No wonder, each classical text suggests Guru placement in this house as related to blessing or worship of Lord Shiva. Chandra as chitta graha among satvic grahas will act very good for future and use the resources for excellent future planning. Shukra as a karaka of affection and mental image, can use mantra in a visual manner, and create an image of devata with a bhakti or worship towards it. However, regarding Mantra, Shukra can use all kinds of mantras being Rajas graha for selfish use. She has to learn the Mantra Shastra from Shabda Brahmin Guru, as in puranic story. So Rajas grahas need the touch of Guru to be able to understand the mantra shastra. Among Satva graha Chandra in 5th house does not have respect for Mantra Shastra, as Tara who was thinking about Chandra while her husband Guru meditated. Being illigitimate child fo such union, Budha is not conducive to Mantra, unless he is accepted and taught by Brihaspati (touch of unafflicted Guru over 5th house Budha). In this way, we cannot except the mere fact that some classical texts state that Budha in 5th house is to give knowledge of mantras. We should ad- Yes/ But Unafflicted guru has to give dristi or yuti to it. Tamas grahas are apsoulutelly bad in this house. Mangal will do sadhana only out of anger, and frustration and he does not beleive in mantras but in weapons. However, due to agni tatva, Mangal with good guidance *influcenc of Guru, can give considerable knowledge in Mantra Shastra. As far as the chitta is concerned, the mind will be led towards fighting, rashness etc. Normally, Tamas grahas cannot do anything good, since they damage chitta, cause a loss of memory (shani) or subconsious mistakes and wrong judgment (ketu and mangal) or delussions (Rahu),unless they are in own sign, multrikona sign or exaltation sign. In this case, there is a consciousness and awareness which is higher than ordinary placement, however the quality of the guna is not goint to change…

To be continued…

There are many different and opposite opinions about these yogas today. Some astrologers discard the existance of this Yoga, while those who accept them disagree about their formation and effects. In my tradition, we do beleive that the Yoga exist, however, there are very secret teachings whitout which this yoga becomes impossible to understand. There are places on the net, where the effects and formation of the Yoga was correctly explained, yet the proper use of yoga was not correctly explained, or it was given in a very superficial manner. Also, kindly do not confuse this yoga with Sarpa (Bhujanga) Yoga which is a part of Nabhas (dala) yoga, which has altogether different meaning and explanation, and cannot be understood without understanding of what is nabhas.

1. Kalasarpa Yoga is formed when Rahu leads the group of planets (all planets are between Ketu and Rahu)

2. Kalamrita Yoga is formed when Ketu leads the group of planets (all planets are between Rahu and Ketu)

Most astrologers agree that Yoga is broken when a planet is with the node, and when there are planets in lagna or 7th axis/satya peetha/

Misconceptions about the Yoga

1. When seen the Yoga, most astrologers autmotaically declare that in the case of broken yoga, a person will come to the satya peetha point and become spiritual (kalamrita) or materially prosper (kala sarpa). This is unfortunatelly wrong, and it will never work in all cases. If you do not trust me, take 20 horoscopes of people with these yogas, and examine their life. You will definitelly fail. However, please, keep something in your mind. When these Yogas exist people would normally in one way or another be intereseted in what is so commonly defined as ” sprirituality” today. Today, it is enough that people take interest in phylosophy or read some book, or even do some Yoga and meditation and people have an image of this person to be spiritual. This is far from it, and please go into shastra definitions of spirituality first.

2. There is a trick in this Yoga, so it can reverse, so what we see as a Kalasarpa, may in reality function as Kalamrita and vice versa. This segment is taught in detail in Devaguru Brihaspati centres. This can altaughether mislead an astrologer and all predicition and remedial measures may go in vain

3. The term “broken” Kalasarpa and Kalamrita Yoga also carries a lot of different interpretations and misconceptions. I was taught that the broken kalasarpa may actually mean that a person start going towards bhoga or material direction and then leave it and turns spiritual. On the other hand broken Kalamrita may imply that a person turns towards spirituality and end up leaving it , changing direction towards marriage ets. These two paths may alternate depending on several factors which need to be checked in the chart.

4. If the Yoga is not “broken” , the big puzzle remains as what is the way out. Astrologers are mostly silent about it.

The timing of this Yoga is impossible unless this rules are known. Very helpful tool in timing this Yoga is Rahu-Ketu Gochar, Guru progression, Kala Chakra, Navamsa and Shula Dasha.

4. There are certain grahas in particular chart of KSY and KMY which need to be focused. By examining their strength, the whole effect of Yoga may be reversed and changed. Without this knowledge, a reading a KSY and KMY chart can be superficial without real understanding. I have been told not once by my Guru to keep silent about the nodes, until the right time comes. Nowdays, the nodes are not in a good mood towards Guru, so I will continue in a near future…

My intention to initiate this is to draw more attention to these specific chart, where a real effort to understand them is required by all of us.

To be continued…

There are a few steps to quickly see whether a person is a good or bad person. This is not only useful in judgement of a character and remedial measures suggested, but I was prompted to write on this subject, since many people contacted me privately asking how to see whether a person is really sincere and good or not

FIRST STEP

1. Malefic planet in lagna gives bad personality. Choices and decisions are bad and intelligence is misguided.

2. Surya in Lagna will show the satvic nature fully if aspected by Guru. If Surya is aspected by malefics a person will be knowledagble and intelligent, yet he or she will be of bad tamper, cruel, sadistic and of abusive nature. They will always think that they know of everything, which is of course wrong.

3. Benefics in lagna are good. Budha and Shukra create a bit selfish and overenjoying nature (greedy rajas grahas), yet theyb will never hurt others delibratelly, as is the case with malefics. Budha also becomes excellent if aspected by Guru. Waxing Chandra, and Guru are excellent.

IF THERE ARE NO PLANETS CHECK THE SIGN IN LAGNA AND PLACEMENT OF LAGNESHA. Meena, karka and dhanu are satvic signs of pure akash tatva and are the best. Rajasic signs are good but greedy, tamasic signs are bad for the character of a person.

NEXT STEP

1. Check the 4th house of purity and faith. Benefics in 4th house give good heart, tolerance, faith, while malefics give the opposite.

2. Chandra and Shukra are excellent and give compassion and love for people. Guru is best in the value of tolerance, while other malefics are bad. Surya gives cruelty and selfishness unless influenced by Guru.

3.If there are no planets check the signs as per the same procedure.

Now with these two steps we can have the following combination.

1. Benefic infleunces on Lagna and 4th house, good nature and personality. If there are no planets, then signs will give the same.

2. Malefic infleunces give a bad character. If both lagna and 4th house have a malefic inside, or one has a malefic and another has malefic sign, a person is a cheater, cruel and abusive.

3. If there are mixed infleunces, in the Lagna, judge the stronger. Strengten the benefics since it will block the negative traits of a malefic.

4. If there are mixed infleunces in the 4th house, and Lagna has no malefic in it nor is of a malefic sign, then a person is of good character, but is cheated by others.

Single Benefic planet in Lagna or in 4th house is sufficent to block the malefic infleunces.

THIRD STEP

1.Check the placement of the moon in the Sign and position of Dispositor. If it is debilitated a person has bad and negative thoughts. The same holds true if it is badly placed or in dustana.

2. Check the planets conjoined Chandra. If they are only malefic, a person had bad thoghts and character.

This is the simple procedure where in three steps one can judge the quality of a character. These concepts are based on Gunas and Nitti.

There are only three satva grahas and they are: Surya, Chandra and Guru.

Surya is not the absolute truth and its truth is based on Yama, Niyama and other rules created by the governance. For example, in some countries, women may be stoned by people for certain acts, and the law or government approves of it. The Surya which follows the law and sends Mangal to enforce the law can approve of this since the rule and law must be obeyed. Can we say then that Surya infleuncing the character of a person gives wise and good character. No..

Surya truth is only two pada, or 50 % where purity and intelligence is seen, yet a person may approve of very bad things if the law or rule says so. The houses ruled by Surya will be the places where person will enforce the rule. The sign where Surya is placed will modify the attitude towards the rule. If Kumbha or other malefic sign is there for Surya, a person may accomodate rules to suit their own appetite.

Chandra truth is only eka pada or 25 %, as it is based on the truth of society. SOme society will allow four women, while in certain societies in history people did not have a bath or were allowed to eat human flash. These types of truth are subject to social needs and governance and are ruled by Chandra. Only Purnima Chandra has a value to go beyond this rule

Guru is absolute and pure truth where God’s law is obeyed. This is the only rule and only graha where God can show his face through (Prasna Marga), so unless this Graha has connection with lagna, a person can hardly understand the proper and pure concept of truth and being truthful.

Budha and Shukra follow the concept of Rajas truth, the truth of money, sex and enjoyment. Tamas grahas follow the shady concept of truth, or rather to say untruth. Mangal enforces his own truth by force and gun. Shani’s truth is based on lies as well as Rahus. To be continued…

You will see many web sites where Lagna of divisional charts was discussed. Yet, most of the informatiom offered is quite useless and confusing. The reason lies in terrible lack of understanding the basics nature of the signs or rashis.

My focus here will be on specific signs which will serve the rule of general principle.

Navamsa chart- The best lagnas are Karka, Dhanu and Meena for relationships where high level of tolerance, sacrifice and mutual goals with people and associations are achived. However, for marriage, only Karka Lagna in Navamsa chart is favourable. Dhanu Lagna is very unfavourable to marriage particularly if Budha is there, while Atmakaraka in Dhanu navamsa (Particularly if atmakaraka is Budha) can even cause the curse of Dharma and Ishta Devata. The only solution will come from a strong and unafflicted Guru placed in trines to lagna or Karakamsa Lagna.

Meena Lagna navamsa or karakamsa have a major failing for marriage. They want to marry Krishna, as it was nicely illustrated in the story of the princess Mina. If Meena is Navamsa Lagna or Karakamsa in a male chart, there can be a lack of progeny, unless there is a nulifying factor.

Vrishaba Navamsa Lagna is SUPERB for marriage. There is a high level consciousness about relationships, and if Chandra is well placed a person will handle partners with a great care and conscious efforts. Of course other karakas should not be afflicted

Thula Navamsa has a major problem since there will be too much fighting in relationships, particularly if mangal aspects. A person will trully suffer the curse of Subramanya

Vrischika navamsa is the worst lagna to rise in Navamsa Chart as far as marriage and dharma is concerned. A person is fully unaware of their destiny and needs of a spouse. Their intelligence has gone in this area. If chandra is there or Budha is there one of them being Atmakaraka, the soul cannot see their destiny and a high level of immorality and corupt character will be there.

Mithuna Navamsa is also bad particularly if Shukra is in Lagna in mithuna. A person may remain childless and due to insatiable lust and conflicts, and huge ambition in this area will be cursed by Laksmi Devi. There will be all kinds of financial problems too.

Simha NAvamsa is excellent for knowledge and spirituality and Atmakarak there will surely confirm it (in simha rashi). However, for marriage, early widowhood is a threat.

Kanya Navamsa is horrible, since even LORD BRAHMA cannot create a partner a person desires. If Shani is there or in trines, a person may remain childless /unmarried. In any case Strong Shani is undesirable or Atmakarak in kanya navamsa (Shani in particular) will have a negative say on person’s progeny.

Kumba Navamsa is bad for relationship too. A person will terribly lack emotions and will be too punishing. Chandra in Navamsa lagna or in Kumba will specifically mark the same, and wrong thinking will be there. There own mother will suffer or a person will marry a spouse without a mother or with suffering mother.

Mesha Navamsa is very good for both marriage and knowledge. A person is full of knowledge and light particularly if Surya and Guru are strong and well placed (for spirituality) or Chandra and Shukra for marriage.

Makara Lagna is very bad, all kinds of enjoyments in marriage and relationships will lack. A person lacks faith terrible or loose it easily, particularly if Guru is placed in such Navamsa Lagna.

In this way, one can see all lagnas in divisional charts and see the general tendency even before getting deeper into analyses of planetary positions. Try to think in the same lines and guess why Kumbha lagna or Chandra in Kumbha for female charts is horrible for chidren in D-7? In male chart Meena Lagna or Dhanu Lagna can live the person childless under the circumstances and are the causes the same? Kanya Lagna can leave the person complete childless or their children will remain childless if other planetary combinations give children to a person…

Today there are many people who want to read the chart, yet they stumble on huge blocks in reaching the correct results. One of the main problems lies in the following:

1. Available literature mostly gives ready made karakatvas of planets and houses and astrologers blindly accept them without understanding the real cause or clue. Why is some meaing attached to one house, not another? Why is some meaning attached to some planet not another? The reason should be understood in proper phylosophy, adequate Guru and correct understanding of Vedas and Jyotisha classics such as Parashara and Jaimini

2. The principles are mostly known, yet there are huge misunderstandings which normally cannot give correct results. Just to mention one of them is Karaka Bhava Nasha, where people will interpret Guru in the 5th house as giving bad effects for children, which is apsurd. Karaka Bhava Nasha has the other meaning, different alltogether.

3. Unless correct understanding of houses, planets and other basic tools is there, one cannot step into divisional charts and other advanced tools of Vedanga Jyotisha. For example, how many of you would put a quality and expression of speech and articulation of knowledge into Simha rashi and 5th bhava. Would you associate long hair with Mina rashi, or curse of Vishnu with Dhanu Rashi. How many of you would put a white blood cells into a 2nd bhava or ability to wake up into 8th bhava? Did you know that Rahu if exalted as dispositor of Chandra would give noble and happy thoughts leading to pure and noble actions? Did you know that afflicted 10th bhava can give a terrible lack of faith and failure ?

Normally, if we associate wrong significations to houses, planets and signs, we will not be able to correctly interpret a chart. If we on the other hand try to take effects of planets in houses from classical texts, we will again fall into a pit, since these effects are strictly underlined with VERY SPECIFIC principles, which have to be applied and using which, these effects will be 100% correct.

I have read and baught almost all avaliable literature on Jyotish in english langauge, yet most of them list these basic principles with let us say 50% of accuracy. There are also many web pages on vedic astrology in english, and now in serbian/croation websites, which you should handle carefully. Read the texts and try to apply the principles, and if they work apply them. If they do not work, my simple advice is to discard it. Unfortunatelly, many of such sites offer their own theories, and completelly useless and wrong information. I have read so many stupid things on jyotish such as that Sy and Ketu yuti is bad, or in example charts where Guru was severelly afflicted (cursed), these people extolled and praised its good infleunce. It might have been their own chart or ignorance, be that as it may, it is a fully wrong karma done on jyotish.

2nd problem

This problems comes into a picture when we have to idenfity the result within a house. Which to take? A house, House lord or Karaka? If you say that Rahu is in 7th house, does it mean that partner is suspicous, or we are suspicious, or do we see the partner from 7th house, or its lord or Karaka? What are the differences? Will we see the ability to have many children from benefic infleunces on the 5th house, or should we examine the position of 5th lord? Or what about Guru as a karaka?

Even these principles are never clearly explained, and many lovers of Jyotisha are still confused about it. Then what happens if these effects are contradictory? Let us say> Malefics are in 5th house, but 5th lord is exalted and Guru is well placed? Does it mean that person will not have children, or children will be there and they will trouble person. Or will a person trouble children, or will children lives be troublesome? How can you understand these differences without properly knowing each segment?

Then, this sounds discouraging. What is left is a need to deeply understand the chart and its couses, and to find a Guru who can give you the answers. Today, my Jyotish Guru Pt. Sanjay Rath and myself have threaded impossible task to clear up and set up the proper foundation and build it up within Deva Guru Brihaspati Centre and its branch in SIVA for slavic speaking people. The main purpose of this blog will be to work on this as well..

To be continued…

Om Namah Shivaya,

Dear Jyotisha friends,

I am pleased to announce that I have started with a preparation of full-scale articles which will be downloadable from the web site in PDF/MIcroMedia Flash format with a one-time key activation with a small donation, per article. This work will take some time, however some articles are already prepared. My plan includes:

1. All articles from the web site will be written in a full-scale explanation with examples.

2. There will be a lot of future articles such as: “Houses from Pitrikaraka, and children related issues”, ” 7th house from Darakaraka and marriage, promises from the past” , “Gyana Yoga formed by certain positions of Atma and Bhatrikaraka” and many other advanced, be.ginners and intermediate topics, such as ” Paravidya or Spiritual Learning of Siddhamsa, Importance of 12th house in Siddhamsa” . Even though this website is dedicated to some specific issues which have not been covered anywhere else, I am open to your suggestion and can write about a certain topic on your request.

3.We are still sorting out some legal issues of getting a certain software which will support this project, so I beg for your patience.

Best wishes

Zoran
