JAIMINI PROGRAMME

Currently, I am teaching Jaimini Sutras programme to 9 students in Serbia, while my students and Jaimini colleages teach also in small groups, so there will be 28 Jaimini students batch in the 2nd genaration of teaching very soon.

Maharishi Jaimini Upadesha Sutras is set of known four adhyaya which is taught strictly within the Guru-Shishya tradition (Parampara), where advanced students are taught at the feet of their Guru. Luckily enough, Pt. Sanjay Rath belongs to Orissa Shri Achyutananda Parampara which preserved the knowledge of Upadesha Sutra, and he started teaching the sutra in 2007 to 27 students in Kassar Resort at Himalayas. As his student, I have accomplished two years of the 4 year programme, which is held annually in Himallayas. Students were instructed to spread the knowledge further within small groups to their own students.

Regarding the tution of the course, the first year course all Jaimini Scholars (27 of them) gave 500$ as a daksina for the 1st year Jaimini Course.

This was the exact amount my students paid to me. Each Jaimini scholar is free to choose their own tution fee, however, the fair option is to be given as much or less as you gave to your Guru, so the proper fee I charge for the course would be 500$ for the 1st year. I consider highly inappropriate to charge your teaching more than you gave to your Guru as a dakshina.

This is the exactly what my Guru advised me, so as the Rishis would be pleased with our attitudes.
