There are many websites I like to visit. However, from the purely jyotish perspective, I must admit that I will be quite selective by the word “good” jyotish websites and blogs. Today, there are thousands of websites of Jyotish, and many of them I hardly understood in the terms of my understanding of jyotish. Sometimes, I felt that we have been talking about the completelly different subject alltogether. Thus, here, on my blog, I am going to link the official english website of my JyotishGuru Pt. Sanjay Rath, and jyotish blogs/websites I have gone through in detail and fully agree with the line of teaching jyotish and other jyotish information presented on the website. My intention is to link websites with purely jyotish and vedic content.

Recommendation for learning jyotish
Today, there are several big jyotish schools all over the world, and many smaller, unknown throughout the India as well.
Where one will go and what kind of learning one will choose depends on many factors. There are schools which can teach solid information about astrology, jet many spiritual insight will not be there. There are others who put more accent on spirituality, yet the basic principles of jyotish are wrong. To my utter dismay, I have to state the following which is true. Many famous Jyotish schools and teachers from the west have written the books and conduct courses based on the knowledge taken from my Jyotish Guru Pt. Sanjay Rath, without giving him any credit, for the sole purpose to earn money and reputation. In the process of the past few years, I have met many of them, including famous names to be given the opportunity to see that their knowledge of jyotish is on the level of mere beginner. I feel very ashamed to see their web sites where they offer their services.
Unfortunatelly, I can only recommend the following two centres where traditional knowledge is given in the purest form, as well as spiritual and human integrity is kept. These are

These two centres are formally structured and if you in any way do not wish to pariticipate in it, the next best is SJC centre.
This is the biggest organization of Jyotish nowdays in the world. Even though I myself was running Sjc Europe and Serbia for some time, nowdays, all my students from Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia are a part of Devaguru Brihaspati programme, preffering its curriculum and line of teaching than SJC.
So the next thing I can recommend is to look for Sjc Guru-s, yet I have to admit, that many Gurus of SJC have involved their own teachings and deviated from the teachings of Pt. Sanjay Rath, so our teachings in Devaguru brhaspati significantly differs in some matters. I also beleive that besides knowledge, our programme aims at maintaining higher human integrity as well. Today, there are many fights and bickerings within this organization, which I can hardly explain to my students at SIVA. That is also one of the reasons, why my Guru wanted me to focus only on Devaguru Brihaspati and its branch SIVA where I teach full time.
I must also mention the other organisations run by ACVA, BAVA, Dirah Academy etc. To be honest, I do not know much of the curriculums of these schools, yet I have never met a person from these schools whose knowledge was credible. However, You can examine what their offer, and which standards they follow. Also keep in mind that many astrologers are greedy and do the readings for money only which you can easily see by the way they advertize themselves and their readings in the website. Also, if you look at the prices everything will be clear to you. I have recently seen a website of an astrolger who charges 100 us per one question (prasna) and who is the student of the third generation chargning his reading more than his seniour Gurus, normally with superficial knowledge or rather to say, a high level of ignorance.
However, the worst thing is to study on your own. It is a painful and non-possible mission. In any case, I wish you luck in your future studies
